PRIVACY & GDPR
When using this site you may be asked for personal information. This information will be used solely for our own use to help provide you with a better service. It will not be used, passed on, sold or rented to any other third party for marketing or any other purposes. You may from time to time receive an email regarding promotions or special offers we have. 1. GENERAL
All orders are accepted subject to the following conditions, which cannot be altered unless specifically in writing by The Wiper Company (TWC).

2. TITLE
All property and goods delivered to the customer shall remain the property of The Wiper Company (TWC) until the customer has paid the total purchase price in full.
The customer is responsible for the safekeeping of The Wiper Company’s goods whilst in their possession until paid for in full.
In the event of non payment, the buyer or any third party acting upon the buyer’s behalf refuses to release the goods, we shall be entitled, at any time and without notice, to enter upon any premises of the buyer or third party where the goods are stored and repossess these goods. Any liquidator or receiver must adhere to these terms and conditions and in the case of the company being in administration, all remaining goods will be returned or paid for in full by the receiver or liquidator.
The ownership or title of the goods shall not be transferred to the new buyer until full payment has been received. The goods cannot be resold under any circumstances until full payment has been received.

3. VAT
VAT will be charged at 20% for all orders including delivery charges. The prices throughout the site are displayed without VAT for each product. The total amount will automatically be added to your shopping cart at the time of checkout and include VAT on any delivery charges (if applicable).

4. PACKAGING/LABELLING/WEIGHTS
All our cut wiping cloths, textiles, rags and polishing cloths will be sold in solid board or corrugated cardboard cartons. The total weight of these items will be either 5kg or 10kg (unless made for customers’ specific requirements then this may vary) including any packaging materials.

The majority of lint free/non-woven cloth materials are sold in either a corrugated cardboard carton or in roll form with cardboard box dispenser. Each is sold on a sheet count basis which will be clearly displayed in each item description.

For paper products each product is clearly described in terms of length of roll or sheet count. These are packaged in polythene wrapping or corrugated cardboard boxes.

Every item will be clearly marked/labelled with a product code. If you prefer that your goods do not have any labelling, please inform us at the time of ordering.

5. RETURNS
All goods can be returned for any reason within 14 days of purchase for a full refund (less our initial carriage costs). Once we have been notified, you have a further 14 days in which to return the goods to us. The return carriage cost will be at your expense. Once we have received the goods, we will issue the refund. All products must be in a re-saleable condition where possible and in the same packaging, otherwise you may be charged for these items.

If you require replacement goods instead of a refund, they will be sent free of charge but the carriage cost for the re-delivery will be charged at cost depending on the size of the order. If you prefer, you can return goods by your own courier or drop off/collect in person.

If any goods are damaged or defective on the original delivery, we will arrange to collect and replace these free of charge within 3 working days of notification. No claims will be accepted if we are notified of any faults or damages 14 days after receipt of goods by the customer. This does not affect your statutory rights.

6. METHODS OF PAYMENT & SECURITY
We accept all major debit and credit cards through our secure server with Worldpay. The Wiper Company (TWC) does not have access to your card details when making a purchase through this website nor does it save any information. Each time you enter your debit/credit card details, this information is only used once for the purpose of that transaction.

For customers wishing to open a credit account to purchase goods, our terms are strictly 30 days from the end of the month in which the goods are invoiced. All customers applying for a credit account will be subject to a credit check and regular credit monitoring. Full bank payment details are on the bottom of every invoice and copies are available upon request. All goods shall remain the property of The Wiper Company (TWC) until payment is made in full and late payment may result in further orders being withheld.

7. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
We want you to be completely satisfied with your new purchase and we pride ourselves in providing high quality products and service. If for some reason this is not the case, please contact us after you have received your order and we will make every effect to assist.

8. CONDITION OF SALE
The act of placing an order with The Wiper Company implies that you have read and fully accept our terms and conditions.

9. GOVERNED LAW
The Wiper Company Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Disputes arising in connection in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

10. LIABILITY
Please test the suitability of your product before use on a small area. If in doubt, please contact The Wiper Company for samples to test any product. The Wiper Company (TWC) cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage caused by the misuse or non-suitability of a particular product if it is not intended for that purpose. Data sheets are available upon request.

11. ETHICAL SOURCING AND ENVIRONMENT
We endeavour to source all our products from ethical sources. This involves asking for guarantees from our suppliers that they also follow the same code of practice including fair pay and safe working conditions. Our environmental considerations involve using boxes derived from recycled pulp, giving redundant textiles a second life as wiping cloths and rags and acquiring many paper towels and rolls manufactured from recycled wood-pulp. Many “non woven” cloths are also manufactured from recycled wood-pulp. Where possible, we re-use boxes for shipping across the UK.

12. DISCLAIMER
Whilst every reasonable effort has been made to ensure that the information on the website is correct, The Wiper Company (TWC) does not guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the material on the website. Changes may be made to the material on the website, or to the products and prices described in it, at any time without notice. The material on the website may be out of date, and The Wiper Company (TWC) makes no commitment to update such material.

All transactions will be in GB Pounds Sterling only.
